I made the puff pastry from scratch, instead of buying it, and I used the recipe I posted in another thread (Apple Turnover and Puff Pastry thread) to make it. Originally, I had planned to make an apple dessert, but then I got a cherry and cream cheese craving, so I looked around and found this easy recipe, so decided to use it for the filling of my puff pastry crust. Here's the recipe link. It looks super easy, and I have all of the ingredients on hand, which means I don't have to go out in the cold for ingredients. That's always a plus.
