..or as we call it here Mobile Phone!!

be honest do you follow all these etiquette rules when it comes to using a Mobile phone...be honest.

I have to say I was surprised that I do follow every one, I suppose it's just common sense and politeness.. really..

Not many in today's society follow those things. Just the way it is.

There can be a sign, right in the waiting area of a doctors office, stating, Please Turn Off Cell Phone and/or If You Get A Call, Please Talk Outside and absolutely nobody will pay attention to it. IOW, people don't like be told what to do. As for me, sometimes I will turn mine off, or just Mute it and vibrator will let me know I'm getting a call.

I think, if some knows, please chime in, that there is some kind of iPhone app that can shut off family cell phones by a member of the family.

Cell phone etiquette is the one major thing that Seniors like, but the other generations care less about.

I'm good with everything except the shouting.

Usually, I'm screaming at some scam artist.

Another thing that I find a little bit creepy are people that take or make calls while seated in a public restroom.

Me, too. I follow all of them but some don't seem to apply to me. I don't need to end conversations when paying for purchases because I'm too much of a monochronic person to the effect that I don't even walk and talk on the phone let alone pay and talk.

"Don’t take a call in the middle of a face-to-face conversation" - This one made me giggle because it reminded me of a dentist's appointment when, in the middle of the treatment when we were face-to-face, my phone rang. Well, I'd forgotten to switch it off because I do not usually get a lot of phone calls on my cell phone because people know that I'm virtually something of a cell phone refusenik. To my surprise, the dentist asked me "Is it urgent? Would you like to answer the phone?"

I basically follow all of them, too, and since I have the Apple Watch, nothing rings or makes any noise anywhere anyway, it just shakes on my wrist.
I have all sounds set to off on my phone and watch, and if I do get a call, I can easily look at the watch and see if it is an important call or not, and cancel it if it is not urgent.
I make very few phone calls, anyway. In fact, most of my calls are probably hunting for Bobby when we are shopping at Walmart.

I use mine for that also (in red), unless one of us forgets our cell phone at home. Then we pretty much stick together like glue, when shopping.

I've always thought it might be fun to get a cell phone jammer to surreptitiously turn on when people are being particularly annoying with their phone habits.

If I owned a Cellular Telephone (cell phone), I would own it not from purchasing it, but by receiving it as a Gift.

Then I would properly dispose of it after removing the battery.

Then I would go to my Land Line Telephone and reassure it of my undying devotion!

I follow the rules but I do answer a call if it's my daughter in my car but it's all hands free.

I just answer from a button on my steering wheel and just talk normally as I would if there was a person sitting next to me...don't have to take my eyes off the road for a second.

That doesn’t say much for the regard you give to the person who spent a few hundred bucks on a gift for you.
Proper ettiquette does call for you to politely give the gift back and explain, as nicely as possible, why you like your princess phone so much compared to the gift.

By the Bye, Siri doesn’t need reassuring. She hates me and I her but we have simply agreed to get along.
