My wife disagrees strongly. I believe potatoes cut up into 1/2" cubes, mixed with a "gravy", cream of mushroom soup, or, tonight turkey gravy, turkey meat cut up (tonight), or tuna, or salmon, bit of canned cut green beans, sprinkled on by garlic powder, No Salt, and last after microwaving, crushed potato chips, saltines, or Ritz whole wheat crackers, over shredded Mozarella or Cheddar cheese, can be done completely by baking in the microwave, covered, about 20 minutes, then uncovered, the crackers then crushed and spread, cheese on top, give it another 10 minutes. This might be called a "no noodles" casserole. It was scrumptious!

Red potatoes, coats left on. Should have cut up some onion into it, forgot. Yesterday's roast turkey cut up in it small, 1/2 can cut green beans, no salt, pepper, turkey gravy, before popping it in the oven:

Finished, tested potato after 20 minutes, still too crisp, gave it a bit more cooking time. Before placing crackers & cheese:

I love experimenting in this way; my wife hates it. She insists I violate the methods the "experts" have developed over many years. I say those experts are as dubious as any others professing to be "experts": if simple logic is violated I doubt the experts. Like, for example, that food removed from a baking oven must be allowed to sit 15 minutes before judgment of "finished" is conferred.

An "ex" is a has-been....a "spurt" is a drip under pressure!

Whatever makes you happy Frank. I still prefer to cook foods in oven or stop. But looks like microwaving works for you.

I love to experiment with food. Usually turns out good, sometimes not.
