I thought she would recover. It was not to be. She was 60. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/27/movies/carrie-fisher-dead-star-wars-princess-leia.html?_r=0
She was a woman of many talents. I am not a follower of celebrities but after reading that link, I am impressed by her. For Carrie to overcome it enough to accomplish the things she did is admirable.
Carrie Fisher comes face to face with her Star Wars character Princess Leia at Madame Tussauds in London
I asked my wife. She said Carrie was Debbie Reynolds' daughter. I did not recognize Carrie's name, but searched. Apparently, a group of celebrities aboard the Queen Mary included Debbie, Eddie Fisher, and Elizabeth Taylor. Eddie was said to have engaged in an affair with Liz, which then caused marital discord. Believe Eddie married Liz later. Strange. Frank
