Can Someone Tell Me How To Use This Coffee Pot?

This appears to be a camper-style coffee pot, as it doesn't have a glass globe on top like stove top percolators I've seen in the past. It has basket inside for the grounds. Can someone tell me how long the coffee is supposed to cook/boil on regular stove top?

So it'd be around 5 minutes after it starts to boil?
The info in the link covers pots with domes, and mine doesn't have one.

I have a nice percolator I'd like to use, since I enjoy perc'd coffee, but I can't get the lid off . I might have to take it across the street to the strong neighbors and have them remove it for me.
