I have watched many #Walkaway videos in the past months, but this one is outstanding. This gentleman is a LEGAL immigrant from the UK and his extremely politically-aware comments are spot-on. I hope you have time to listen. (10 minutes)
Very good, @Beth Gallagher. I never search for the walkaways, but enjoy them when you and others post them..This man has a lot of good points, and he apparently is an educated man, as he says he was a "college teacher".
Don--I have been impressed by many of the videos and encouraged by the #walkaway movement. I heard someone say that the last election choices felt like going to the superbowl only to find out the worst two teams were playing. I think in that frustration, lots of people are trying to find alternative solutions so it all feels more like a true representation of the people. Very few folks are all left or all right. All liberal or all conservative. Most are just normal, less polarized, and kind of wish our government was the same. Great video.
It looks like Google plans on eliminating any channel that they think has “fake news”, or something that they don’t want people reading about or listening to on YouTube. The announcement of course says that they are doing this “to protect us” from these evil people who post radical ideas and information that goes against the mainstream media. Facebook is already deleting some of the facebook groups that are simply ones for Trump supporters, just because that is what they are for. One group that I belonged to, over 60,000 members, just taken down by facebook, called Trump’s Tribe. Some of the facebook groups have a backup group, but those will probably be taken down as well. We are well on the way to losing everything except the propaganda that the media wants us to hear.
