There is a lot of unease about our political system at the moment. In this tiny isle we have 650 MP's and 782 peers in the House of Lords. They have 11 bars and restaurants, all subsidised. Peers are payed £305 a day with nearly half only making 10 contributions a year. If a bill is rejected by these lords their rejection is overruled by parliament making them redundant. These men and women are making important decisions, possibly having been drinking alcohol. Can you imagine an airline having a pilots bar freely available?
    What's your system in America?

Its about time the House of Lords was streamlined 'way down' - the benefits they get is outrageous !
