    Brexit is not over yet

As of 9:25 EST the votes were remain 45.3% leave 54.7%. That means the English have had enough of the European union and want out. This is going to be a shock to Europe and maybe other countries who are burden with the immigration and tired of supporting weaker countries will leave as well.

Interesting they put out that the crown is crashing against the dollar and then the feed from the website that had been tracking the vote count in real time crashed.

On my way home from the office, I heard the news on the radio that Brexit was over and it won by 51% over being retained in EU. So that means they are now free from the reins of the European Union. As the prime minister said, they have their country back for themselves. Even Donald Trump is happy with the development, I just forgot the exact words he said in praising the decision of the British people. But clearly, Trump congratulated the British for that decision in the polls.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens now..having your Country back for yourself is one thing....knowing one to do with it...is another. Even the Prime Minister is resigning because I believe he realizes he won't know what to do with it.

If is better to have the English decide what to do with their country instead of having all these other countries which have their interest telling them what to do and threatening them. It is not pleasant to remove leeches but it needs be done. Good Luck England.

Oh, I definitely am in agreement with you on that @Martin Alonzo. But it's just like Americans are trying to figure out how to get rid of our corrupt Govenment officials. How can it be done? We can't figure that out. If they can...then there is definitely hope for us in figuring out how to fix our problems too. It will be interesting to see how everything unfolds.

I hope other EU countries will follow us and get out
We have spent hours and hours watching how the EU works and it was so terrible to watch these ignorant people
making decisions for 'us' and snubbing our attempts to overturn those decisions
Also, the extreme amounts of money they 'wasted' - unforgiveable !

@Martin Alonzo Real leeches actually drop off when they reach the near bursting-point from sucking others' blood. The political leeches remain attached until such time as their host dies, after which they attach a new one. Frank

Sounds like the BREXIT agreement was voted down today; not sure what this means going forward.

**Decided to bump this old existing post instead of starting another. :D

It means that there will be two more votes, one on the acceptance of a no-deal tomorrow and then a vote on asking the EU for an extension period.

They are putting off doing BREXIT hoping everyone will get tired. Then trying to tell everyone it will be worse if you leave. I guess they need another election to put English first. Make England great again
