This is a bill being voted on which will be the end of freedom to choose good food. They are trying to past a law that will make it e legal to know if you are eating a GMO they will not be able to put on the label that it has GMO free. Things can be labeled natural ans still be GMO. This is going to be the end for you knowing anything about what your eating. 90% of people want to know what they are eating but the government is being run by money and not for the peoples wants. Like him or not Putin said there would be no GMO in his country. There is something to learn from the so called enemy.
The Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act 275-150 without four amendments passed the house on 23 JUL 2015. Over the years, I have read all kinds of pros and cons in regards to GMO's and specifically the labeling of products. I think, the only way to know what is in the food is to grow your own. I think that even if they do not make it mandatory for food corporations to label their food as to whether it has GMO's in the food used to make it; we will still have the companies that make food from regular non-GMO crops, and they will probably take it upon themselves to label it that their food was not made with any GMO grains. If it does not ay that the item does not have GMO crops used in it, then we can probably safely assume that it does contain them.
