We endure the high temps here with this: A few hours ago, I was vacuuming the pool, unclothed as usual, my wife stepped out the door and stopped abruptly, feigning indignation, but I knew she knew, but did not know I was cleaning it, and that was what surprised her! She threatened to post a picture of me on the forum, and I called her bluff. Now, if she sees this one, I'm in deep caca! Frank EDIT: Now it is clear why we built those rock privacy walls!
Nice picture Frank, but tell me how does your wife get cool, with an air bed, between her and the water?
@Holly Saunders Splashes water over herself periodically. The constant wind here is pretty good at chilling one down fast! Frank
@Hal Pollner Very nice! We have only 15 feet available between the house and garage, so opted for a 10 foot self-supporting one, basically a kiddie-pool, but 26 inches deep. The rock walls at either end of the patio ensure privacy. My wife grew up living on a lake in IN, so is very basically a "laker" as she calls herself. Frank
We have one of those small pools out in our back yard as well. It is wonderful in the heat and humidity we have here during the summer. Just walking out the door is enough to have a person dripping perspiration with the heavy humidity. Bobby will often just stick his head and shoulders into the pool to cool down when he is busy and doesn’t have the time to change and get into the pool. The small size is perfect flor floating on the air mattress and cooling down, and my actual swimming, I do at the fitness center where there is a regular sized swimming pool.
