A few days ago there was a terrible accident at a very popular theme park on the Gold Coast ( Queensland )
We have been to these parks ,as we go up to,the GC every year for a month during our winter ,as the weather is Beautifull up,there when we are freezing here ..no we don't get snow but we might as well it's been so cold lately .
Anyway on visits to the theme parks ,we have noticed how risky some of the "thrill" rides appear to be.
Dreamworld had the very worst thing happen two days ago when 4 innocent Australian tourists including two adult children from a family of 3 were killed ,one was a mother of two young children
The other two were another young mother and a partner of the brother, who's sister was also killed .
Luke and Kate were brother and sister ,the other young man was Luke's partner ..and cindy the young mother ..it was just tragic
However it was also amazing two children were thrown free ..the others drowned in the upside down ride

I read about that, Kate! It happens a lot in the US.

So happy the kids were at least able to get out....too bad for any deaths though but I'm always happy to see children survive.
