I was down in the city yesterday and went up,into the hills area to buy myself new purse ,I didn't want something that would last 6 months and fall to bits .I know of the shop I went to yesterday ,as I bought my husband a ostrich skin wallet from there 10 years ago ..and it's still going strong ..All the items are made on the premises ,I was looking to replace my crocodile skin money purse after 20 years of service ..I took a few photos while there ..
It's called Hahndorf ,first settled in the late 1800's by our first German settlement ,it's only about 14 km from our city of Adelaide ,which is South Australia

Yes here I is with a picture of the poor old 20 year old crocodile skin one ,that hubs bought me when he rode his motor bike up,to Darwin in 1996 ( Darwin is the crocodile capital of Aust) Crocks are farmed up there ( right up,the top of Aust ) for making garments ,bags shoes ,you name it it's made ...my new purse is cow hide
That chair is out the front of the German Arms hotel it was a little cloudy/ spitting with rain to take to many photos
I have a photo of hubs holding a young crocodile ( with its mouth taped shut ) up in Queensland ,where, they are also farmed

Photo of Main Street, included down the bottom

Most of these I took inside the shop where I bought my purse
The other one is the Main Street ,I was lucky enough to get a shot with no one walking down the street
