We have a few changes in ours...mainly for the better. Our Primary Doctor visits will now be $5 instead of $10 per visit. Specialists stayed the same. Our over the counter allowance at the Drugstore will now be $45 every 3 months instead of $30. And best of all Dental is now included at no extra cost in our plan...but only for one cleaning a year...since I get two cleanings a year I will have to pay for the second. Hopefully I can get a discount card to help cover some of that second cleaning expense. The few prescriptions we take will still cost us nothing for a 3 month at a time supply. There are a few slight raises in the daily cost of some things that we have not had to use so far...and hopefully we will not need during the New Year either. So far we are very happy with our plan with Humana.
No changes or at least nothing significant. My primary dr's copay was 0. My PT copay was $10. I never even look to see if I have dental because that's free for me.
My primary care visits went in the other direction, from $5 to $10, although specialists went down $5. Not many other changes, however. I don't remember our rep telling me about the rise in GCP out-of-pocket costs, although I may have missed it. I noticed it when I got my new card yesterday. My wife doesn't remember that either, but she was switching from an Advantage Plan to a Supplement, so she may not have been paying attention. She sees far more specialists than I do, so the Supplement works best for her.
I will know, once I get the bill, for all that has happened this week. Never really had to use it it before- sooo we shall see. The meds I got filled at Walmart, $199,but only had to pay $57. So that is pretty good. I have Care and Care, plan one I think.
