Went in a week ago Monday. Released 4 days ago. Feet were swollen like sausages. They did a lot of dialysis "liquid only". Now near normal. Symptoms of dizziness persist: I can hardly stand up at times. Loaded down with meds. Will keep all you great people informed.......typing not easy. Frank
Aw, Frank... sorry to hear this but I'm glad they got you relatively back to normal. I was wondering how you're doing so thanks for checking in. Take care of yourself.
Frank, I am very sorry to hear that. We really miss you when you're not here, and I know that I am not alone when I say that I look forward to your return to regular duties here in the forum.
Frank I hope you will feel much better soon - with all the meds you're on, its no surprise to me that you feel dizzy which is awful. Be sure to tell the docs of any symptoms you are experiencing, I'm hoping they can lessen your meds soon.
@Frank Sanoica ...bless your heart- so sorry your down. Just give us a peck on the keyboard when you can. We miss you!
I am also glad to see you back , and hoping that your doctors can get this thing under control better. When I had the bad heart failure, My legs and feet especially would swell up every day, even with Lasix to help keep the swelling down. My knees would not bend, and I lurched around like the monster on Frankenstein, so I have at least some idea of what you are going through with this mess. I had several pairs of shoes, because as my feet became more swollen during the day, the shoes got too tight. By the end of the day, I was in a pair of men’s soft moccasins, size 11 Wide, and they were still tight. I imagine that they have you on a special diet plan to help with the swelling and dizzy spells ? Saying a prayer for you, take care of yourself, and check in when you are able to, even if it is just a few lines to update everyone on how you are doing. We ALL MISS YOU ! !
I'm sorry to hear this, Frank. Hope you get better soon. Thanks for letting us know how you are doing.
Yeah, I limit the amount of canned soup that I eat. I do use canned tomato soup but not much of the rest of it.
I think there are several low sodium selections now but I don't know how good they are. I imagine that with Frank's kidney issues and fluid retention that he must have salt restrictions.
