Mini-Ice age? Hmmmm.....I think that was the alarm that was set some time back Chrissttina. Then of course we had global warming and now it is climate change, all of which the United Nations has tried to solve by attaching a monetary value to a thing called a carbon footprint.

I do believe we can come up with the solutions without a bunch of overpaid underachievers like those that we find in power. Here are my solutions:

    1. If we do not like Climate "Change" then we consult our local climate control specialists and have our homes outfitted with computerized room to room climate control similar to the one Bill Gates has in his home.
    2. Since there is a dispute about a mini-ice age and global warming, whichever climate we like, that is the side of the world we go to. example: I like it to be between 80-100 degrees so if the ice age shows up here, I move to the global warming side.

An excellent solution I do say and without the consultation of a group who merely needs to line their own pockets such as the one headed by the one and only Al Gore. I think my money would be best served that if it got cold enough I could line my sleeping back with it rather than line someone else's who does not need it.

The above opinion is a personal opinion and not necessarily backed by this radio station nor it's sponsors.

So far, this has been the most gentle winter that I have experienced since moving to Maine in 2000. We didn't have much in the way of snow on the ground until January, and now it's mostly all melted. I'm sure we'll get another storm or so before spring, but we're nearing the end of a winter that has barely started.

I don't believe this signifies anything, however. Last winter was fierce, and I thought it would never go away, and next winter is still up for grabs. Things don't seem to have changed much since I was growing up in the UP of Michigan. Some winters are wussy while others are fierce.
