    Thank you for posting this. I never realized that the wings started out small and always thought they were miniature monarch lookalikes.

    It's a shame that their milkweed food source is being eradicated by use of weed killing chemicals and if this continues the next generation will never see a Monarch. We used to see hundreds of them in our yards years ago. Last year I only counted 4.
