All good rib ticklers there Shirley - FAB !
Yes, that's my fence/spiderweb @Chrissy Cross and I took another earlier...I tried to crop out the crappy fence, but we'll see. This whole place is under a spell, it's covered with spiderwebs.
I've never seen one so big and perfect.
I could have gotten some really great shots if I hadn't been trying to avoid catching the yucky fences in the pictures. I've taken some nice spiderweb pictures at the local parks. I like to get them first thing in the morning, when they have the dew still on them, and are glistening in the sunlight. Sometimes I can even get a bit of a rainbow on them.
Can't you crop the crappy fence out if the pic somehow?
Probably once it's uploaded to the computer yes, but I was trying to get pics on the phone for Instagram. I'm pretty basic as far as working with the phone and Instagram. Sometimes I would upload and then email them back to myself to post on I-gram, but I was posting on the go earlier, so didn't have that luxury. I didn't have my real camera, and sometimes when I use the mobile camera it seems there's not as much depth to the pictures, so I try not to crop them too much. I haven't loaded my programs I use on this computer yet, so was flying by the seat of my pants.
Stephen King's house in Bangor, Maine. Halloween, 2016
Texans get into the spirit of Halloween.
Getting the costumes ready (Darth Vader and his Stormtrooper) Wife's Stormtrooper costume doesn't use any batteries, but mine does. We make sure that those batteries are the Eveready Lithium "long lasting" type. That way I don't have to worry about being somewhere, with the costume on, and the batteries start going low or die. Don't want any of the lights on my costume to go out. Vader without lights on his belt and chest would be a tragedy!
One thing I'm going to do this year, that I didn't last year and got into trouble for it (fell), is leave my helmet off until some someone wants a picture of me. Found out. the hard way, that I really can't walk around with the helmet on. If there are not steps to go down, I could possibly wear the helmet. But, even with no steps, I have to be careful walking with the helmet on.
Already have our motel room reserved for the night of the party.
Will have a couple of "dress rehearsals" in the costumes before that weekend. Actually, we are both very impressed at how we look with the costumes on.
Mummy I'm scared, is that pea soup, YUK ;
