I am a history buff and found this book about Hamilton the best I have ever read about him. I grew up in Paterson, New Jersey where traces of our Revolutionary Ancestors abounds and where the public schools when I was a young school boy covered our Founders, but not in detail. The things that Alexander Hamilton accomplished before he was 40 years old is amazing and makes me wonder where is the Alexander Hamilton of today?
He was probably someone that only comes along once a century or so. I think people are interested in his life though. Hamilton is by far the most popular and hottest ticket on Broadway right now. People seem to be enthralled with the soundtrack as well. I read Burr one time, the Gore Vidal book, but that was long ago. I guess I should read Hamilton, for equalities sake!
