I just read how he spent his last day and it made me cry. He had a swing in his back yard he had just repaired. He and wife were sitting in the swing looking at the the horizon, when he left this world. How awesome to be able to go out that way, versus hospital and bunch of wires. I’ve always had a lot of admiration for the guy and at one time, I had the opportunity to meet him but I simply got too busy and couldn’t make it for an interview. I have kicked myself ever since because what I got busy with wasn’t worth it in the end. I seriously do not think that anyone could replace him because in some sense, he Was the show. He’ll be sorely missed not only as a show host but from what I understand, a real decent human being. Prayers for his family........
