I like the Sales Tax or GST included in sales or service cost of things rather than added on at end of purchase. I first learned about GST on my stays in New Zealand and Australia and liked it much better than the much lower California sales tax that is added on at the end of purchase.
GST and VAT are ways to tax people so they don't know how much they are paying in taxes. It makes it easier for politicians to raise taxes on the populace as they never know how much they are paying. I really don't mind paying sales or use taxes, but I like to know how much tax I am paying.
