Loved that film - the Garland version
Yes, I loved it too. Had forgotten about it.
Me too - think I'll look for that one, I have it somewhere
I might also. I really don't remember it so I think it might be doable for me since I can't watch a film twice.
I did yesterday though....watched "into the Wild". I did remember parts of it since it was a long movie I just fast forwarded thru some parts.
Sad and tragic story in my opinion.
Haven't seen that one, will google it ..............
James Mason was so good with Judy - very natural and played the 'drunk' to perfection
I just watched "Into the Wild" again a couple of weeks ago.
I also bought the book a couple weeks ago since it was in my Book Bub. Haven't read anything about how closely the movie follows the book though.
The book, to no surprise, offers more detail, but I think the two are consistent.
Looked up the film Chrissy - says there's a narrative running through it, that - will get on me nerves ..........
I didn't even notice. It's a good movie and true.
He died in the end. Ain't no way I'm gonna watch it.
Yep and what's even worse is that if he would have lived 2 weeks longer he would have been found by the moose hunters.
Seems he made a few mistakes in his last days/weeks that probably cost him his life.
