Hmmmm, Shirley and Ina took my first choices, so I'll keep my good looks and charm, they've gotten me this far and I'm sure they'll take me the rest of the way. :)

"Suppose that for whatever reason, you had to give up all but two of your own, personal possessions, not friends, family, or people, just possessions.

    What would they be?"

My gun, and my ammunition for it. Now I will try to dodge the caca as it hits the fan blades!

My husband would say the same thing. Then he's say "Linda you bring your pistol and ammo as your 2 items." And I'd say "Don't boss me around!". :)

    Aw, I've missed imponderables! ;)

    My laptop ...

    ... and nothing else *sigh*

I've already given up everything else I was attached to.

What would you use the gun for Frank, hunting for food, defending yourself against the hordes of women wanting to ravish your naked body, or to shoot yourself if you get too depressed?

Nothing wrong with that, my late husband would have said the same thing, Frank.

But won't you eventually run out of bullets?

Food, likely. Hordes of women? Deal with 'em one at a time, why be greedy? Shoot myself? Possibly, if terminal illness diagnosed.

One left out: Defense against those who would take my gun.

@Chrissy Page : Ammunition I will never run out of. The bullets themselves, are simply little hunks of metal, easy to make. Cartridge casings are
reusable, and their priming I can do myself. Gunpowder? Many types easily made, ranging from shredded paper, like confetti, to cotton, sawdust, almost anything organic containing Nitrogen; that's for Smokeless Powder, currently common in use. Old time Black Powder is also very easy to make, given availability of it's three components: Inorganic Nitrate, like Potassium Nitrate (Saltpeter), Sulfur, and Charcoal. Of those three, Charcoal is obviously easiest prepared.
