Here I sit at my desktop banging away on the keys writing stuff, junk, feelings about nothing in particular, and nothing coherent. I'm having a cup of one of Andrews and Durham's damn fine teas. I know it is because it says so right there on their home page. They do make some good teas. I've had three of their tins but far and above in my lowly opinion is their Assam tea. I ran out of that months ago. I can testify it is one fine assam tea and if money were no object I would have a cup each morning when I rise and each evening before I go to bed. This afternoon I'm having a mixture of Red Tailed Hawk and Caravan. When this cup is gone that will end my sojourn with with Andrew & Dunham and their "damn fine teas."

I have been drinking some Twining black tea, the Lapsang Souchong tea which is a pine smoked tea. I like the smoked flavor and I prefer it with a touch of sweeter.

For the past two days I have been visiting with my daughter who flew in from Austin area. She took a few days holiday so we could see each other before she has her second stem cell operation for her Multiple Myeloma. I have been thinking about her as I sip my tea and pound my keys and hope for her the best.

I wish I liked tea but I don't. There are so many varieties.
