Yup, handcuffs and in the back seat of a police squad car arrested! Well, not actually arrested because she committed any crime but It was one of the remaining things to do on her bucket list. So the story goes, it was arranged for the police to show up, put her in handcuffs and transport her to the senior center in a squad car. A feel good news story if there ever was one so I thought I’d pass it on......
Trying to figure out why this would be on anyone's bucket list. Forever known as 'Nana Thug'..............
If she wanted the authentic experience she could have thrown a brick through her neighbor's window or something. (Nice story, Bobby.)
As it was in days gone way past, when she was just a lass in pig tails, her mother probably told her that if she didn’t straighten up she’d wind up in prison like aunt Martha making her wonder for the next 90 years why Aunt Martha liked jail so much that she spent so much time in it. Or, maybe she’s just a kinky lil ol’ grandma. After all, according to the article I read, she Asked to be handcuffed.
awww bless her going in there holding the Cops hand... she probably only did it so she could get a big hunky man in uniform to walk hand in hand with her!!
@Beth Gallagher I don't agree with policy of damaging the property of bystanders, unless they are officially on public duty, like driving about in police cars....... The macho "Sportsmen" who revel in shooting poor little defenseless birds like doves and quail, which cannot fight back in any way, should rather be seen shooting at police cars. Alas, though, true balls are non-existent among real men. Frank
Sometimes I wonder how you read so much into things. I was making a JOKE. Good grief. And I'm not sure how macho sportsmen entered this conversation, but my grandfather shot defenseless little quail and unarmed rabbits to help feed his hungry family. Terrible man, I know.
Taking another stab at throwing yet another thread off topic eh @Frank Sanoica ? Take your meds and all will be well again. In truth, the thread definitely is about a 102 years old woman who was in the “feel good news” recently but I’ve found that there’s a whole lot of 100 yrs old folks out there who are doing stuff and making life better for others and themselves. To be sure, the centarian population in the UK has quadrupled in the past few years. There has GOT to be some good stories among them and I’m just going to grab some of those stories and post a few now and then.
You're far too serious for your own good Frank, you need to lighten up and see the fun side of things, it'll do you good!!
I guess I have to bend just a little here. I was just alerted that an 82 year old female bodybuilder sent a home invader to the hospital. As the article reads, she first picked up her dining room table and hit the guy over the head with it. That’s not all she did...... https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...ybuilder-takes-out-home-invader-29-with-table
Yes it's a fabulous story... just goes to show that if you have your health then age is but a number.. Go Willie.... https://edition.cnn.com/2019/11/24/us/82-year-old-bodybuilder-grandma-intruder-trnd/index.html
