Yes I believe there is. How long has this been going on and who is behind this? The root of this problem I would say can be traced back to satan and those demon angels that roam this earth trying to steal, kill, or destroy anyone and anything that has to do with God. What they can't do theirselves they have deceived human beings, etc. into doing for them. And between the "evil forces" and those humans they have deceived there has been a high success rate of doing away with God and Biblical principals here in America. A Conspiracy that began with satan...has now become part of much of the human race. Even though America was founded as "One Nation Under God" (and that would be the God of the Bible) and our Constitution and Bill of Rights were based on Biblical principals...even the money we spend says "In God We Trust". Prayer used to be allowed in our schools, etc., the Ten Commandments were in our Court Houses and others Government buildings, etc. Almost every home had a Bible that families actually read together instead of gathering dust as it does in a lot of homes today. What has happened here, and when did it start happening here in America?

Wife and I have noticed the same thing. The entire thing has just progressively got worse and worse. Can hardly turn on tv anymore without hearing words that use to be never allowed by the FCC........but now are. A show, with Jennifer Lopez in it, Shades of Blue, has quite a bit of scenes that, years ago, would have never been allowed on tv.

Unfortunately, Satin and his group have really got ahold of today's population. He's even gotten into some of our church's and that is terrible.

I have a Men's Devotional Bible. I read the Devotional's, but have never been much of a Bible reader. My wife is and sometimes I'll have her read something that she thought was interesting. One thing for sure, our Bibles don't sit around and collect dust.

To me, we are living in a very different world than back in the 50's and 60's. Lassie, Rin Tin Tin, Sky King were all a great pleasure to watch. Today, nothing like those shows on tv because way to many people want just the opposite........not "nice, clean and wholesome" is wanted anymore.

I am sorry to say there is some truth to this. It seems that today we are so busy trying to be so politically correct to everyone that we miss the big picture. That in taking things away that include God another group of individuals is also being slammed for their beliefs. Yes, there was talk of taking God's name off money and also even from the pledge of allegiance. But notice neither of these things have happened yet. That's not to say there haven't been incidents where God has been taken out of the equation, such as prayer in schools or at the opening of meetings. There is also the fact that it's been taken out of the oath when a person is sworn in when they take the witness stand in court. The thing is I don't get too offended at the fact that prayer is no longer allowed in schools or even God being removed from the court oath. However, I did take issue when they wanted to God from money and the pledge. That was carrying it to extremes In my humble opinion.

Thing is, what is the "right and wrong" things to bring religion into today?

At one of my wife's past jobs, there was a lady that would put on a Bible Study during lunch in the cafeteria. My wife participated. Only thing was, even though the group was at a table in the rear of the area, many folks (young) would look over at them when they came in to eat. One time, when I stopped by to have lunch with her, I noticed the people looking at them and some of the looks weren't good.
At a company I use to work for, a supervisor tried to start a Bible Study at lunch. It was her and two others, but it only lasted twice...........somebody complained and the supervisor just couldn't get enough participants to continue either.

A young lady use to work in our apt. complex office who would read a Joyce Meyer book. On purpose or not, she would leave the book sitting out and either the manager or the asst. manager would put it in her desk when she'd leave her desk. That upset her when she found out that the book was put away. She wound up finding another job.

As for me, religion just has to be kept out of certain things, just like discussing politics. If a person wants to keep their job, don't talk about certain subjects, like these two.

Isn't a conspiracy in secret?? I don't think many are hiding, or even trying to hide the fact that they don't want God, or His morals to be any part of America. Even some folks that don't worship the God of the bible, still have adapted the morals. But I don't know who is going to win out. I think the bible talks about that as well, or, predicts that in God's timing, Jesus will return, and I believe the New Jerusalem will replace the world as it is. I personally, can't wait, although there are some things I so love about the world. I read/hear heaven is going to be, well, no comparison to the "wonderful" we see here now, like creation, animals, the love that is going on.

The elimination of the fear of God, symbolized by the Supreme courts actions in the matter of school prayer, led to a dramatic increase in crime, venereal disease, premarital sex, illiteracy, suicide, drug use, public corruption, and other social ills. This documented by Specialty Research Associates, under the direction of David Barton, that has released a report entitled America: To Pray or Not to Pray. Below are just a few of the examples featured in Barton's report.

    A. Young People

    • 1. For 15 years before 1963 pregnancies in girls ages 15 through 19 years had been no more than 15 per thousand After 1963 pregnancies increased 187% in the next 15 years.

      2. For younger girls, ages 10 to 14 years, pregnancies since 1963 are up 553%.

      3. Before 1963 sexually transmitted diseases among students were 400 per 100,000. Since 1963, they were up 226% in the next 12 years.

    B. The Family

    • 1. Before 1963 divorce rates had been declining for 15 years. After 1963 divorces increased 300% each year for the next 15 years.

      2. Since 1963 unmarried people living together is up 353%

      3. Since 1963 single parent families are up 140%.

      4. Since 1963 single parent families with children are up 160%.

    C. Education

    • 1. The educational standard of measure has been the SAT scores. SAT scores had been steady for many years before 1963. From 1963 they rapidly declined for 18 consecutive years, even though the same test has been used since 1941.

      2. In 1974-75 the rate of decline of the SAT scores decreased, even though they continued to decline. That was when there was an explosion of private religious schools. There were only 1000 Christian schools in 1965. Between 1974 to 1984 they increased to 32,000.

      • a. That could have an impact if the private schools had higher SAT scores. In checking with the SAT Board it was found that indeed the SAT scores for private schools were nearly 100 points higher than public schools.

        b. In fact the scores were at the point where the public schools had been before their decline started in 1963 when prayer and Bible reading/ instruction was removed from the schools.

        c. The scores in the public schools were still declining.
      3. Of the nation's top academic scholars, three times as many come from private religious schools, which operate on one-third the funds as do the public schools.

    D. The Nation

    • 1. Since 1963 violent crime has increased 544%.

      3. Illegal drugs have become an enormous & uncontrollable problem.

      2. The nation has been deprived of an estimated 30 million citizens through legal abortions just since 1973.

Taking Prayer out of public schools was one of the major turning points for God and Christianity in America as far as I'm concerned. The evil powers who wanted God and Biblical Principals eliminated from America knew to start with our children. Adults have already formed their beliefs and opinions for the most part. But if you can get a hold of a young mind and have control of what goes in to their minds for most of the hours of the day...and also eradicate from their daily environment the things you don't want them to belief in, then then you pretty much can make these young minds believe anything you want them to believe. Not only was prayer taken out of school, but Biblical principals were no longer taught either.

When America was founded, children were for the most part "home schooled" and much of what they learned came from the Bible or was based on Godly principals found in the Bible. Even when small town schools were built these basic principals and teachings remained the same. And not only in the schools, but in our Govenment and Justice systems, etc. God and His Biblical Principals were the backbone of these systems. So why did this change?

This changed for many reasons. As America grew into an industrial Nation and prospered, the Family which was also a backbone of America became fractured as men and women left home to take jobs, children were given over to others to tend and teach. And I don't think that many realized that in giving over their children to the care of others...this also meant that others could teach them whatever they believed which might not be what the parents believed. Also as these parents gave more and more of their time to the outside world and less to their home lives...they became to tired to teach their children about God and those Biblical principals most of them had been raised on and believed in. They also in many cases as they lived more in what had become a materialistic and worldly society where God and His Principals were delegated to maybe an hour or two of Church on Sundays...much of which is the scenario of today.

But there was an Agenda to do away with God and the Bible from the moment satan was thrown out of heaven by God. A most beloved Angel of God, he was not content with this...and decided he wanted to be God. And he actually was able to convince a third of the angels in heaven to rebel against God with him. God threw them all out of heaven and they roam this earth now...deceiving humans into believing there is no God and the Bible is not God's Word of Truth. They failed to kill Jesus and satan knows one day soon Jesus Christ is coming back and that will be the end of them. So their greatest desire now is to take every human being they can to destruction with them! And they accomplish this by lying and deceiving humans. Their Conspiracy is to eradicate totally belief in God and belief in His Truth contained in the Bible. The proof that humans, many here in America are believing those lies is all around us and in the News daily. God and His Truth are being replaced by idols, false religions, so called scientific truth, and the belief that Biblical Principles are obsolete and the only truth there is now...is whatever you decide you want to believe. This Conspiracy to take God and Biblical Principals out of America will not stop until Americans repent and turn back to the God who created them and start living by His Truth once again. Will we see this happen?

Conspiracy (An agreement to perform together an illegal, treacherous, or evil act). Denise, although in a Conspiracy the planning of the acts may be put together in secret...the plans once put together are carried out right in front of our faces many times and we don't even notice it a lot of times because the plans are carried out one step at a time in many cases and in very quiet ways at first.

Ok, so I see what it means, and that makes sense to me. It seems there is more and more illegal, treacherous, and evil acts being committed. I just don't think people want to believe such things are happening, or at least being started by the "powers that be" but not believing, or looking at it, won't make it go away. Or denying it.

No, you are right Denise, not believing and not looking for the truth here for yourself won't make this Conspiracy go away. In fact, that is probably how many Conspiracies are successful. People just refuse to believe anything like that could happen even when the signs are all around them and happening right in front of their faces. I think this is called apathy. Many people do not wake up until something affects them personally, and even then they will often blow it off to just a chance happening.

Yes, and things haven't changed for the most part, not in people anyway, since the beginning of time.

There are still many people behind the scenes working to take God's name off of money and the Pledge...and anything else God's name or Biblical Truth is a part of Hannah. Anything that symbolizes God or Biblical principals is being eradicated from America one little step at a time. And sometimes even in big steps.

This is certainly a scary world that is evolving. We seem to have no choice but to cling to our faith and pray.

I do not believe there is any conspiracy, but rather a concern about the invasion of Fundamentalist Christian Thinking and the negative influence it can have in politics and society in general by blocking out common sense and logic.

There is most certainly a move to block out common sense and logic. I don't pretend to be a smart person but can not begin to understand all the moves by people to Make things OK that in no common sense way of are.

We all live under a constitution that guarantees us all the same rights under the same laws. So I have no idea why special interest groups think they need a special set rules that are only advantageous to themselves and excludes all others.
