Got the new part for the heat and air pump, finally, at 6:50 pm today, and I will be replacing it tomorrow, if it fixes it, I will post how it's done, just in case some of you ever have this problem.

Glad it warmed up a lot, to where we didn't need heat while I was awaiting the part.

That didn't fix it, the outside fan still won't run, so I ran straight power to it, and it tried to run but couldn't, looks like it's gonna be needing a new a/c heat pump installed.

Could replace the outside fan motor, pretty easily, but like Marie was saying, long as we've had it something else may go out next.

Well, that sucks. Sorry the part didn't fix it, Jake. A new unit is expensive but a necessity.

True, just checking into it now so we can brace ourselves for the expense of a new one. The hardest thing for me is seeing that everything working, but the outside fan, and if that was fixed, all would work.

Then too I know Marie is right, it's getting old now and something else is bound to go out.

On heat pump a/c, still checking on it.

But I was just wondering if any here still chew Bazooka bubblegum? Almost 67 y.o., and I still do. Remember the little cartoon wrapper that they wrapped them in? One below the cartoon read, I can go steady with any girl I please. Why don't you then? Because I don't please anyone. :D

Well, we got an estimate now of $5970.00 for 15 seer units upstairs and 14 seers downstairs a 3&1/2 ton. Not too bad I guess, in this day and time with prices going through the roof, for everyone. He's going to start on it first of the week. Wonder what will be next to happen? That's what I meant with this thread, it never slows down for any of us, and I guess that's what keeps us all going, staying busy. :)

I told the guy that I had changed the capacitor, and the outside fan still wouldn't work and that's the only thing not working, then he said yeah, the only thing is if you replace the fan, then the compressor or heat eliminates will go out, and you will have to sink more money into it. :(

Can you return the part(s) you bought and get your money back? Y'all will enjoy the new unit, even though it's a sh!tload of money to spend.

Wasn't much for capacitors, so not worried about that. You're right, it will be nice to be able to stay warm and cool as needed. If I would've ordered the fan or more, I would've wanted to start returning them, for sure.:)

The tic's and red bugs aka chiggers are back out. Jake has pulled off several little tic's and I have too plus chiggers. I can barely see them but I hear them pop when I crush them between my fingernails. Thye will leave a raised bump and I scratch them off. I didn't use enough Sulfur ,lavender soap on my skin.
A couple years ago I had the worst case of chiggars ever!

That was only two ticks, and no chigger, or any other bug on me. They did have to bite a few places before you can find them. It's expected being in the woods, not too bad in winter. :)

I just cut on the lawn tractor up the trail to where we stopped, looks nice, got to cut a fence, to keep going last owners put it up 100 years ago, is unbelievable, it's still standing all those years.

They start the installation on heat and air tomorrow, one of the little chicks got down in her legs, not sure why, but separated her from other chicks yesterday, and she seems to be doing a little better so far. They are getting big now. :)

New Heat and Air, work great, not cold anymore or hot. The one chick down in legs is on the third day being separated and lays around on her hay mostly since I put her in the brooder pen, by the other nine chicks. Should be getting better soon, will see.

" Hope everyone is doing well ", we are ok so far. :)

Day six on the little chick, still not moving without limping so far, but still eating some so far, still not sure what the reason is, but will give it a little more time and see. Want mention the screen porch anymore, until I get it done. :)
