It seems to me sometimes that the sun is actually brighter, which I'm sure it isn't. I have cataracts so that may be the problem.

I asked Alexa why the sun was so bright and of course she sifted through her database and came up with some response that I couldn't understand:rolleyes:. So with that said I agree with you. I would blame snow if it was on the ground.

Can't be snow here.I think the sun is brighter or the atmosphere particles are less dense? Of course, I don't know:confused:

It's been cold here! Just this morning, when the temp outside was 17 degrees, I said to my wife "either this is the coldest winter we've encountered the two times we've lived in Colorado now OR we are simply getting older." She said, "we are getting older". Must admit, I do believe the "older" comment.

Alexa is a smart alec so I don't talk to her much,:p One day I ask her for directions, and she got all upset.

And of course, that is when some nerfballs pour boiling water on the doors to get them open or to unfreeze a lock.

Almost up to 20 F. and snowing. 4 to 12 inches are predicted, depending on who you look to. The way it is set up, it could be a lot or just a few inches. There is only about 2 inches of new stuff on the ground and we have less than 6 hours of daylight. I will check before I go to bed to see if I need to plow tonight or it can wait until tomorrow.

It is in the 30's and drizzling a bit today. It is supposed to be in the 30's the rest of the week for highs.
I think I like this global warming in December.
I might not like the global cooling in March.

I saw 2 butterflies in my back yard yesterday. 10 day forecast: nightly lows about 61, day time highs 80ish, no rain, mostly sunny days. Great time of year to ride the Harley.

Sounds like our weather this week, but we had some sprinkles of rain today. I also saw a yellow butterfly when I was in the backyard.

We got about 4 inches of snow last night. Not much, but more is supposed to arrive tonight, so I think I will go out and plow just in case. Temps in the upper 20s F.
