Halleluiah, thank goodness, it is running and sounding great " so far". He was done and cranked it up at 10;20am.20 minutes ago.
    Just waiting on truck head.
Hubbys positive thinking has come to pass again.
He is the kid in the horse stall full of manure who proclaims " there's gotta be a pony in here somewhere.
I'm a realist or more on the cautious leaning on negative side.

I'm mostly a "realist" in that I try (big word "try") to stay in the middle of the gauge of "positive" and "negative". But, there are time that just doesn't work.

Cody sometimes I get to tell Mr. Possitive ," I told you so". But no more often than he tells me the same.

@Marie Mallery Imagine having to play both roles.

    About 1980

Faye 1 - "Get your boney butt out there and pull that transmission."

Faye 2 -- "Shut up you mean hag, I am waiting for parts."

Faye 1 -- "How do you know what parts your need before you drop the tranny?"

Faye 2 -- "Because I just know from experience."

Faye 1 -- "So where did you order the parts you, lying bag of poo."

Faye 2 -- "At NAPA auto parts as soon as I go to town."

Faye 1 -- "Well get moving you lollygagging hussy. They have them in stock."

Faye 2 --"OK OK I walk down to the neighbors and get a ride."

Faye 1 -- "About time I get some peace and quiet around here."

Faye 2 -- "I have the throw-out bearing and seal and even bought this cute funny-looking tool necessary to install the seal."

Faye 1 -- "Well bully for you, now get that damn thing fixed because I need a getaway from this funny farm."

Faye 2 & 1 in unison -- "It's fixed and sounds great. Good job hun! "

I have never mastered the self hug so I just kiss both hands at such an accomplishment.

Jake, we can see that picture because it is stored on the forum server. Right click and "copy image link" (I use Firefox). When you paste that link you'll see that it is a url pointing to Seniors Only... https://www.seniorsonly.club/data/attachments/54/54783-96a6586ab3ab9cc4f8ad9f5c7d31eeef.jpg

So it was uploaded to the server whereas the other photos were linking to your google account. Hope that makes sense.

    The link?
I see a rectangle inside of two circles. Clicking it didn't do anything. But I see your latest pix.

It does, a little complicated, but I think I understand it, Beth. The last few I loaded are working so far, like the tomato on Mary's thread and she said she can see it. I started using the upload a file button you told me about at the bottom of the post, and that seems to work. :)

I'm glad it's working, Jake. I worked in IT for nearly 30 years and I still get frustrated with this crap.

Man, that's a lot of years Beth, I'm not that tech-savvy, and will reread your post again later. As probably know these two vehicle's that I got the parts for are kicking my butt now, but glad I have the parts finally. So for now if I post a photo I will just use the upload file button.

They delivered the head yesterday morning and the bracket yesterday afternoon which we got but the head went next door delivered it to our neighbor's.
He stopped us on dirt road and gave it to us. It looks really good so hope its as good as it looks. Maybe later hubby can upload a picture, I don't know how.

Van stalls in 4th gear for past several years at low speeds. We pull over turn it off then crank it back up and it ran fine long as you keep it above 45mph which can be a problem in a 25mph zone.. Hubby downshifts ,but today on test drive it jerking in and out of gear so it needs a speed sensor or solenoid. Probably both. It gets us to the store so that's all that matters at the moment.
We need an air conditioned garage.

Selonoid have to drop the pan so I don't want both parts fixed at same time, soI'm not stuck here again.

Was going to vacuum and mop but at this point I may be tempted to put my head in the mop bucket and drown myself!:mad:
