I'm no advocate of the Catholic Church and its false teachings, but I do give them credit for their doctrinal battle against abortion. It's surprising but encouraging to see that even San Francisco Roman Catholic leadership can fall in line with God on the moral issue.

Years ago, I remember attending numerous Catholic churches with a new girlfriend, trying to decide whether the faith was compatible for me. During those visits, I learned that I was not allowed to take communion (as a non-Catholic). I'm glad I didn't, now that I understand what the ritual means. But now, I'm glad to see them also refuse communion for a public official who not only advocates our nation's biggest sin against God and humanity, but heretically dares to claim her view as supported by the Bible.

Now, we'll see if the Church has the fortitude to follow suit with President Biden.

I understand at least eleven other bishops have come out in support of the action.

I haven't heard if Pelosi made a statement about it. She probably wont.

Why do people of a declared faith believe they can fool God?
They pick through their belief system like it was a bag of M&M’s. Some folks sort through the bag and only eat the chocolate ones or green ones and set aside the other ones because they don’t like those colors.

The Bible is the Bible. An anthology of books and letters that not only witness to the validity of our faith but actually validate each other making those 66 books and letters a singular belief system which can’t be simply picked apart because there are some things we like and some things we do not or some things we think are less important and some things we think are more important.

Such is what denominationalism is all about but setting that aside, whatever denomination one declares himself should be the standard by which one lives but still, if we can pick through the Bible, why not pick the goodies out of our denominations leaving the stuff we do not care for side lined?

Back to the OP, politicians in particular are famous for being “pickers” whereby they tickle ecumenical ears by declaring some popular facet of faith whilst at the same time denying those parts that aren’t socially and politically popular. The very foundation of their faith is to please those who would re-elect them and that’s what Pelosi, Biden and others are all about.
So far as Pelosi goes, if we remember back to the George Floyd incident, she’s the one who had Kente cloths brought in so she and others could wear in support of BLM whilst not even thinking that the Kente is by itself a statement of a belief system that doesn’t align at all with Catholicism.

Pelosi is an actress the same as Biden and Harris and others employed by us who have no intention of living up to the standards of belief of their own declared faith.
They may be able to fool a lot of people but the bottom line is that they can’t fool God and as old as most of them are, judgment day is coming quickly.
