There was an explosion on Long Island this morning felt and heard by many families. Some homes were rattled. The police were investigating this mystery explosion and eventually found a crater on one of the small Islands (Fox Island) between the mainland and Jones Beach. The crater was 4 ft in diameter and 2 ft deep. The police released a photo of a striped boat taken right after the explosion leaving the area. So far no suspects.

    Surely, white supremacists are responsible.

When there's no other suspect it's either them or aliens.

Has CNN found evidence to show that it was white supremacist yet?

Update on the explosion police are now concerned that it was a test run for terrorism.
Police confirm they are working with the FBI joint terrorism task force on this investigation.
I made one error in the original write-up it didn't happen this morning it happened yesterday morning. I started writing the article last night forgot to take out this morning

It is not that far from where the Ghislane Maxwell trial just started today, so it might be some kind of a diversion because of that. It does not look like it did much damage, which is good.

It didn't do any damage just Made 4ft wide by 2 foot deep hole. It was heard about 15 miles away.

Very interesting crater. The symmetry is that of a specialized explosive. It wasn't a pipe bomb or a stick of dynamite. It looks like a 4-foot sphere was dropped from the sky, hit the beach, and buried 2 feet.

Witnesses say they saw the sand rise and a quick dissipating smoke after they heard the sound. It was defiantly an explosion and in my opinion, a specially constructed bomb that was tested for future use.

It couldn’t be something so simple as someone illegally using explosives to look for some Fox Island treasure.

Using explosives to look for treasure seems a bit counterproductive to me. What kind of treasures would a concave 4-foot diameter by 2-foot deep crater reveal? They could have dug a hole like that in the sand using shovels easily and without anyone knowing.

The blast was very directional and the absents of any sand being piled near the hole raises questions.

In any discourse meant to reveal the motives behind any event, one cannot discount the lack of good reasoning by an idiot with a stick of dynamite.

Very true, but there is no way (to my knowledge) a stick or even several sticks of dynamite could have done this. This was just too powerful and directional a blast to be idiots with dynamite. The lack of sand piled around the crater, the shape and size of the crater, tells me it isn't just a stick of dynamite or the work of amateurs.

Smoke as seen from a distance.

    Mystery crater with interesting symmetry.
