The shadows indicate it is tapered from the center to the edges much like an arrowhead, but it lacks notches to attach it to a shaft. The hole in it looks like the inside of old bone. It can't be of value or an artifact since Shirley defaced it. Notice the award is a surprise, not a prize. Judging by the paper towel, it is small.

 

I was thinking maybe the egg fried on the rock by the redneck .
