It's absolutely frrrrreeeezing this morning at 6.15am....***brrrr****, very different day to yesterday......had to put the heating on as soon as I got up, or I'd have been frozen to the spot ...*well almost* Another day down the mines from me shovelling coal at the pitface.... Good morning. I'm sitting here at the glass door to my deck, sipping my coffee, and guarding the bird feeder. I sprinkled Cayenne Pepper on the seeds because birds love it but squirrels hate it….or so they say. It hangs out past the deck railing but that doesn't stop them. Do you all have one of the coffee mug warmers? I have one and it works great! They cost $10-12 each
What a great idea, lara...I will have to look up Mr. Mugwarmer! We put out a bird feeder this Winter with sunflower seeds, and have to bring it in at night, as it attracts deer. Now they come round to lick the seeds off the ground.
Good morning everyone. I've been busy these warm day clearing some of the wooded areas and burning limbs and small trees. I just hired someone to cut up and remove a large oak tree that was uprooted in a storm a few months ago and fell across the creek. He is also going to do some other work along the banks of the creek. I have my truck sold finally, they are supposed to come over this morning to pay me and take the truck. My wife is still not feeling up to par, hasn't been for a long time. I'm hoping the tests they ran at the hospital will show what's wrong and they can fix it..

I'm going to go with the flow today so haven't a clue yet as to what I'm doing. @Holly Saunders , good thing we don't have snow here, Pickles would have problems. @Lara Moss , my coffee doesn't have time to cool off. Edit because Sheldon was posting at the same time I was.....Hope your wife finds the problem and feels better soon.

It is a great day! It is supposed to snow a little bit tonight and I do hope that it will be last cold and snow that we will see for until next winter. It's still a bit chilly, but next week, oh next week will be much warmer. Today I got inspired, I usually do that when someone is telling me they are waiting on me to do something. Someone keeps telling me that they cannot wait until I write a book. Well I am going to start putting my spiritual stories into some sort of order and I have a name for the book already, Through The French Doors.
