No reason to here. No one except a few preachers (and not all of them) wear suits, coats, ties, or blazers here. In the bush, an Alaska tuxedo is Carhartt bibs and a a matching jacket. I think [erhaps some lawyers in Anchorage wear stuff, but I don't think those in Fairbanks do.
I no longer have a blazer. Nor do I own a suit anymore. Why have I allowed my wardrobe to become so bare? I will be not be going anywhere where a suit or blazer is needed or required. Admittedly, my wardrobe is bare but to be honest I could get by with a couple pair of pajamas if need be. I no longer attend funerals, weddings, or attend church or go anywhete outside my home. I have become like nothing and us nothings don't require a Blazer.
I don't know why I even started this thread. WISHFUL THINKING I guess. Like you, I have given away my suits and dress up clothes but have held on to my BLUE BLAZER because of fond memories. I don't go any where requiring dress up.
I can tell this is a relatively modern picture because the guy is wearing brown pants with it. I've put on 20 pounds the past couple of years, so my blue blazer (and all my nice suits) ain't gonna fit no more.
