Every now and then I have an impulse to go empty a hosptical, but since so few have faith I do not follow that impulse - better to wait and just do as Jesus does, eh? i.e. whenever the Father directs me to someone or someone to me for that purpose, I heal them or tell them how to be well, no matter what their condition is - He Is Always Faithful and True.
That I didn't buy that pair of sandals on sale. (They are still niggling the back of my mind, though. )
i havent rode my stationary bike in a while i need to get on it i have gained a few pounds-from119 to 124
I've probably forgotten the last few times if there were any but if there were it had to do, I'm sure, with something personal I didn't buy for meuself. I can think of one I did follow through but that is neither here nor there.
I resisted kissing the exposed neck of a lovely young thing as she bent over her desk but it took a real effort not to do it.
Serious things? Buying a new vehicle. The transmission started acting up on mine and I got worried. The last straw. But the Ford salesmen don't seem interested in selling, and no negotiation on sticker prices, at all. I've seen every other car maker advertise on TV lately...except...Ford. Something doesn't seem right. Maybe I'm superstitious.
I recall your talking about your car troubles. All last year I kept hearing that the price of used cars were supposed to bottom out because the market is flooded with them as COVID ravaged business travel...rental fleets have been liquidated, corporate fleets have been liquidated. For a while there was a storage problem for all of them. But now I read that used prices have INCREASED because COVID shut down factories for so long, so there is a shortage of new cars. So I can see why no one is dealing, as supply has not caught back up with demand...or so I read today. As an aside, I bought a new Mazda a couple of years ago (3rd new vehicle in my entire life, and my first Mazda.) Mazda doesn't "do deals." They don't inflate their prices so they can have "Deal Days" or balloons in their lobbies to "lower prices." They don't negotiate. But it was a car I researched and really fell in love with when I test drove it, so I bit the bullet. Such a dysfunctional process when spending all that money.
