Nope, I’m sure he meant Plesus because Plexus, the planet that gave us, Plexus-glass is about a half light year closer to us.

Well, sort of, but you'd have to look underneath Serbia and Montenegro to find it.......

I think it is a good idea to keep a notepad especially, now, at my delicate age. You can ask me almost any question and I may know the answer--probably not right away, but tomorrow...;)

Maybe the problem is that we accumulate so much knowledge, accessing any specific bit necessarily takes longer as time--and the ensuing volume--march along.

My friend said her doctor allayed her fears of alzhiemers by telling her that her brain was like a file cabinet and we each keep ours individually. Most people open a door, take our an appropriate file, file, put it back and close the door. She opens the door, throws in the info and closes the door. She can find the info later if she is willing to go in and sift through enough stuff.
Like Mary Rabi says in her avatar, I actually found my remote in my fridge and it took me a SUBSTANTIAL amount of time to figure out why. I have now lost my phone. I think it is in the barn, in a large pile of hay. Easy enough to figure out why. But will take a lonnnnnnnnnng time to find.

I have started making small mistakes when I cook...and I never do that. I had a streak of them last week. It's not that I can't follow a recipe, it's that when making a meal, I was getting distracted and started doing things like not turning down a burner or not restarting the timer after I flip or turn something halfway through. That's just not me.

One of the ladies here recommended doing crossword puzzles. (I used to play a lot of online Scrabble before Pogo--who apparently owns the copyright--went to a pay model.) I have done a ton of paper crossword puzzles from the time I was a kid until well into my adult years, and recently have been doing online ones. I've been pleasantly surprised at how many of the puzzles I can do quickly in their entirety, recalling all those goofy answers to clues that have more than one meaning (I bet crossword puzzles are easier in other languages.)

Regarding your phone, I'm sure you know you could have someone call you to make it ring...just don't wear down the battery. I'm looking for a used wristwatch phone because I've lost my smartphone a few times while cutting my acreage on my tractor (and it's only another $10/month to add it as a Shared Device using the same phone#) Fortunately, there are only a handful of places where I go underneath low hanging branches that pull it off my belt...and I've always managed to find it. So far.
