Every few years I make an honest attempt to try, but now that my coordination and muscular control is fading, I probably never will. Hal
I have been able to juggle three tennis balls or anything that size since I was ten years old but have never tried adding more.
This is one thing I never attempted. I had the cheap magic tricks I used to buy at an old toy store in town, but nothing that required much dexterity (no major sleight-of-hand or anything like that.)
I always wanted to learn to juggle also, but could never get started. It must take a lot of practice up front. I had a friend who would always spin a pencil when it was in his hand. I could never do that either.
Can you pat your head and rub your tummy at the same time? That one always eluded me...although I'm not certain exactly what the utility of such a maneuver might be.
I used to do this in class in high school and my teachers would get really hot under the collar over it.
I can do that one. Maybe because of piano lessons? One I can't do is... Draw a clockwise circle with your right foot, while drawing the figure 6 with your right hand.
I really need to get off my butt and sign up for those. I played trumpet so can read treble clef, but not bass clef. I would like to learn how. You just made me look like I'm trying to learn The Hokey Pokey while signing for help.
In 2017, a juggler named Alex Barron broke a record when he tossed 14 balls into the air and caught them each once. The feat is fascinating to watch, and it becomes even more impressive once you understand the physics behind it. No more than 14 can be juggled because of the physics involved. I had no trouble with 3 either, as Lon said. I can juggle them several different ways. One I used to do is throw one behind my back and keep pattern going. I tried for four balls a few times and almost made it, but I had too many things to do at that time in my young life. I had to concentrate on educational pursuits so that I could juggle all the challenges that would soon come when I started my family, and they were more difficult than the balls. https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/545242/there-limit-how-many-balls-you-can-juggle
