Many years ago, I bought a print of an oil painting that I just loved, and I had it on my wall for many years. After Bobby and I got married, and he opened the Cajun Kitchen Buffet, we hung the picture up on the wall as part of our decor, and many of our guests also admired the painting.
Sadly, when we moved from Idaho, it had to be left behind, and accidentally got ruined later on, so I was never able to bring it back out to Alabama with me.
The picture is pretty fuzzy in this old photo, partly because it is an old photo, and partly because the picture was of the whole dining room of the restaurant, and I cropped it to get the part with the painting in it.
The couple in the picture look French to me, but possibly could be italian or even Spanish, although I don’t think so.
I have searched online using all of the search terms that sounded possible to me, and have never been able to even find a picture that I thought might have been from the same artist.
I am hoping that maybe @Terry Page might know how to find this picture online, or someone else here in the forum who is better at searching for paintings then I am.
If I can find it online, and download it, then I can have it printed out for me again, even if it is not as large as the print that I used to have, or even just having it as an online picture would be okay, too.

You are right, @Joe Riley ! ! I can see that some of these closely resemble the one that I used to have, so now that I have a name to search, maybe I can find the right portrait again.
THANK YOU ! THANK YOU ! THANK YOU !

After much searching through the paintings by this amazing artist, I finally found the picture that I was looking for and saved a copy of it. Eventually, I might get it printed out and frame it again, although probably not the huge sized one that i used to have.

I used to go to the National Gallery of Art all the time, buy posters of paintings that I liked, have them dry mounted, paint them with decoupage to cut the glare, and then make my own frames:

    Boticelli.jpg
I did over a dozen of these, this was the largest.

I just went on their website, they have no posters by this artist listed.

It might be worth sending them a note to see if they might know if there are any poster-quality reproductions of this painting. Here's a link to their Contact Us page. I guess you already know that the title is "Los Claudia."
