I do not believe there are any Chinese cars currently sold in America.
Plans to bring the first electric Chinese car here have been scrapped due to Teh Virus.

I could not easily find data on how many of those Chinese cars were exported.

I wonder how the data skews for cars built in a country by another country's brand. Like the Toyotas being built in Tennessee, the Chevys being built in Canada and Mexico, etc. I am confusing myself. :D

You're pretty smart for someone who's overrun with raccoons.

I wondered the exact same thing myself. Do Toyotas built in Tennessee accrue to America or to Japan? Likewise Chevys built overseas.

There are no such details on that website. But since it says "By Motor Vehicle Production" and not "By Manufacturer Sales," I think it would be safe to assume that we're talking domestic manufacturing output regardless of brand.

It depends on how you look at it. If your focus is on cars built in North America, then they would accrue to the US. If you're interested in the output of a car manufacturer, then they would accrue to that. Currently, Tesla is building a transplant not too far away from where I live. The output would be accrued to Tesla, to no one else.

I found some stats on the number of cars China exported.

Very interesting I enjoyed the video then checked out some other videos. Disappointing at what I seen. Watch the worlds richest men of course they had Gates, Buffet, Bazos. but not one word about the real rich like Rothschild who could buy and sell that whole list or maybe they did so their names don't appear

The bouncy music background was inappropriate. It should have been a dirge with violins and cellos.

There's all kinds of conflicting info out there, Martin. I'm leaning towards Putin being the world's wealthiest, followed by several members of the CCP.

    Thanks, Thomas.

Interesting that only 4% of China's cars are exported, while the rest are to satisfy internal demand.

Also, I think it's kind of odd that none of the Saudis, UAE or Indonesian emirs show on the lists. Those oil guys are close to broke. Let's send them some money.

Is Vladimir Putin The Actual Richest Person In The World?

Like I said.... lots of conflicting information.

There are no longer any Auto Factories in the US.

There are only Assembly Plants where Autos are assembled from Components made in Other Countries.

I fail to see the distinction. The end product has always been an assembly of parts, and the origin of those parts isn't the point. And of course there are automobile factories in the USA, since they have always been "assembly plants."

There's a distinction. It has to do with something I'm having difficulty formulating but it has to do with what may be called the 'depth' of our manufacturing capability. If, for instance, if we can mine the ores, smelt the metal, forge the parts and assemble them all on our own, we are that much more self sufficient. Self sufficiency could be a description of freedom itself.
I feel I'm making my point poorly.
