There is a app called Live Transcribe for your I Phone that will instantly convert speech to text. Speaker need not hold phone.
That is awesome, @Lon Tanner , and will be a definite help for people with hearing problems. I remember that several other people on this forum alone have said that they can’t hear anymore, and this is a lot better than just trying to text back and forth. My friend, Evelyn, had a friend in her apartment complex who was totally deaf, and they used to sit and enjoy coffee together and text back and forth to each other. It seems to me that Apple has started to really focus on health apps and things that can help older seniors take better care of their health, and live a more normal and productive life, even with disabilities. I think this app sounds like a great thing ! Thanks for sharing...
Lon, back on the other forum you were going to have cochlear implants. Did you get them and how did they work out? With glasses, hearing aids and a mask my ears are overworked.
I had a left ear implant three years ago that is not working and will try to get it adjusted August 31st Right ear zero sound.
I got my hearing aids at the VA. They put an ap on my i-phone that enables me to adjust my hearing aids. It is quite helpful.
