@Lois Winters thanks. I used to make a 12 cup pot of coffee and drink one and then after work when it was cool I would nuke some more and put the rest in the fridge for the next day. I'm spoiled now with my fresh coffee but, as long as I get coffee, I don't care. LOL

I think I am developing an ulcer from all the coffee I've been ingesting. Hitting the milk pretty heavily today although I must question if lactic acid is any better for my stomach. Under great stress and anxiety as of today.

Because the facility I live in now is under quarantine due to the presence of COVID-19.

Another brand of coffee, this one from Jim's Organic Coffee because, why not? Jim's is a nice American name, one that suggests trust and wholesomeness. And who can argue with organic. Once I became aware that it didn't have to mean unwashed, I've been a fan of organic. The blend is Jo-Jo's Java. Labeled medium/light, the description speaks of smoothness so maybe, although I generally prefer light, it may not be too strong and nasty. I have just brewed the first pot of it and I have a cut sitting in front of me. Well, actually it's off to the side because if it was in front of me, it would interfere with the keyboard.

I took a sip and it tasted okay but it's hard to tell because it's still too hot that I couldn't really drink much of. Stand by, and I will have further reports later. You don't have to literally stand. You can sit, and it's okay if you go on and do other things while you're waiting. I am not an unreasonable man.

I was standing by and I found that it was hard to type that way. I like it. I like it a lot. It's not quite as good as Black Rifle's Silencer Smooth blend, but it's close and I don't like to drink the same blend over and over, anyhow. I'll order it again. That's actually one of the reasons I post this stuff here so that I can remember what I liked and what I didn't like as much.

When I started a search for a good coffee it was my intent to find a good grocery store coffee. But the search got spread out. I tried some of the coffees
mentioned on here, tried this, that, and the other. My grandson gave me a two-year subscription to a rather expensive coffee (for me) and it was a mighty fine coffee. I tasted some good coffees. I tried all the Folgers brands and some of their competitors. Basically tried everything in the several grocery stores I then shopped at in Norman, Oklahoma.

I don 't like to order groceries from Amazon. I tried some good coffees from there. What that did was give me something to compare to. I can't get out any more and I haven 't felt surfing the internet any longer was worthwhile. It started out as more or less a game anyway. I've found my coffee, ay least what works for me right now. I'm drinking a Folgers" brand. It is a light roast and I buy the bean. It is Dunkin Donut Coffee which was purchased by Folgers several moons ago. I occasionally buy a sack of Dunkin's Caramel and/ or another flavor, Cinnamin, to give me a change of pace on, say a Sunday morning. It does the job for me and more importantly, my wife also likes it.

I will say this, I had a pod coffee maker for eleven months. During that time I drink some of the best coffee I had ever tasted. I really liked the machine. My wife didn't. She thought the pods were getting too hard to find locally and the price was getting too high. I called the manufacturer to ask a couple of questions to see if I could fix my problem myself. He didn't seem to know any more about the coffee maker than I did, but he did offer me ten dollars off a new one. Carried mine out to the trash bin and that ended my Pod Coffee. Fun while it lasted but my search is over. I'm a happy camper.

I was a Folgers coffee drinker for years and of course, we drank coffee in cafes and most of the time we didn't know what coffee they served. Probably some coffee service that could have come from anywhere. There were a bunch of them back in the 60s and 70s. It got so that all the coffee I bought from the groceries tasted like burnt coffee or coffee that had been left on the burner too long. I don't know, maybe my taste changed. But to this day I don't like dark roast coffee. I don't like a dark medium coffee. It was a major deal like buying an automobile, but I thought my coffee got so bat I started drinking hot tea to get away from 6hat burnt taste, or that's the way it tasted to me. That prompted my testing of grocery store coffees. Since I was paying for the coffee I wanted one I could drink. I'm glad I'm not that way with many items or I'd have to use what's available at my local shopping place or do without. I couldn't get out and play golf anymore or get out and run around much any longer so I took it out on the coffee.

@Jim Veradyne, Guess this is the first time I've run into fo you, Jim, here on the forum so, if I haven't said so before, welcome to the forum.

I dislike Folgers coffee intensely. I do like my dark medium arabica roast. It is full bodied and satisfying. Both Country Coffe and McCafe carry it.
