OK...………. It is now early morning and it started snowing... For real snow and it looks like there could be some accumulation ……..
Nope... again we didn't get much of snow.. Maybe 2cms at the most... It is supposed to be on the warm side over the week-end with temps going up to 8c and sunny... Spring ???? ...... Way too soon, but I hope so... I still won't take my snow tires off just yet..
You know what.... Ever since they are telling us not to touch our face, I can't stop touching it.. I never realised that I did it so much till I was told not to do it.. Before that, I don't think I ever touched my face much at all...
Yes Steve I’m trying to notice how much I do touch my face and it’s heaps, it’s a habit that’s hard to stop
It won't hurt us to touch our face unless the virus is on our hands. But, like y'all, I never realized how much I touch my face until now. I have a habit of rubbing the corner of my right eye with my little finger. I don't know why. It's just a habit. I'm trying to stop but it will take some time, I guess.
I think the reason we do touch our face that much is because we are not supposed to do it... Tell someone not to open up the box on the table and leave the room.. Guaranteed they will open up the box... Tell us not to touch our face and for sure we will touch our face.. As long as we are safe and at home, does it really matter ….
OK.... I know I am home and I can take the time to cook up something nice for supper... A real nice dish...… HOWEVER … Some how I just don't feel like it.. My interest in cooking and eating just went dead...…… In otherwords..... MY GET UP AND GO GOT UP AND WENT.... I don't feel like eating, let alone cooking.... Its not as if I don't have food in the house.. On the contrary, I am loaded with food.. perhaps a bit low on veggies, but lots of food other than that... I know we have to eat, and we will, but I still am not in the mood of cooking... Am I the only one that feels like that lately ????
Last nite I cooked steamed pumpkin / potatoes/ fresh asparagus/ carrots ( I rarely eat potato ) I cooked a lamb chop for hubs but I just didn’t feel like any meat so a I had a spoon of cooked barley ( with the hot veg ) and a spoon of my homemade cultured veg I only ate half of it which would have been about a small side plate full ..I rarely eat any lunch now days ,breakfast is usually yoghurt and some of my own homegrown chemical free / stewed or preserved fruit
you sure do a great job Kate, looks soo good,, i sometime buy homemade jam at the flea market but do not eat any other home made items.. not many people round here do that anymore...
Louise.... Obviously we are hungry and we will eventually eat a meal.. Its just that I get into these moods every now and again.. Actually I made a rather not bad supper with chicken drumsticks dry marinated and on the BBQ they went.. Steamed broccoli with a garlic butter over it.. Stewed peaches with heavy cream.. Pot of tea... Tomorrow I will be making in the slow cooker some sweet and sour meatballs...
I sometimes just get tired of cooking the same things over and over. I suppose we all should be grateful that we have choices of what to cook. Many people don't have enough to eat. I worked on my martin gourds yesterday. New housing for my fine feathered friends..
More fun and games with my dottering father in law after he had another fall at home.. badly gashed his forehead and was taken to hossie. The stubborn old coot simply wont use his walking frame. He is expected to have a test or two and be home in a day or so.
