Be happy to when you provide factual evidence not interpretation of bible stories to fit what wasn't known at the time your source was written.

You can start with the story about Adam & Eve, The death of all of but Noah & his family surely since there are archaeological remains of dinosaurs the arc would be somewhat intact. To save you the trouble the claim the arc was found Snopes says the claim is false.https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/noah39s-ark-discovery/ , the remains of the tower of Babel. Then move on to why your source condemns homosexuals & children, to death.

I do not need to repeat my last post; it’s redundant just as yours is.

I think you need to find a better source than Snopes. They're not a reputable source.

You've got it backwards Bobby. You are limited by the contents of the bible and what you were told to believe as a child. Atheists are free to think about all possibilities and use their own judgement as to what seems most logical.

I have my own beliefs combined on many things, others have theirs, I will not interfere in yours and just ask the same from you on mine I will not ask to demand you to accept my beliefs just wish the same in return all fine if you wish to build extra restrooms for those confused, your time and funds there up to you all good until your beliefs start harming others that do not share them, then I consider you my enemy at large. I have friends of most religions we all get along so I know it cam be done, it is the people not the religion who create the problems, exactly the same thing as firearm ownership.

No you don't need to repeat your post, just produce factual verifiable proof of what you posted. Or not if all you depend on are bible stories.

One mans junk is another mans treasure. Maybe I got it wrong what forums are all about, when it comes to religion. Should the topic of religion not include input that doesn't agree with those that like to bob their heads up & down that there is a supernatural being 13 &1/2 billion years old & the other stories that defy logic?

I think that this totally depends on what the thread is about. If the thread is titled something along the lines of “Does God Exist ?”, then it is obviously a question that can be answered either with affirmative input or with negative input.
In either case, it should be done with consideration for others who have different thoughts, beliefs, or ideas about the thread topic, and no one should be belittled for either their belief or non-belief.

However, the designated purpose of this area of the forum, as described by the guidelines for this section of the forum (at the top of the page), is for religious discussions, so some of the threads will obviously not pertain to people who do not believe in God, or have any religious faith.

As an example, the thread that @Shirley Martin recently started, about what a believer thinks about heaven is not a topic that can be discussed by a person who does not believe in a heaven or hell, and has nothing more to offer the conversation than to state that opinion. The thread specifically asked, “when you see heaven in your mind, how do you picture it?”
Obviously, this topic is one that only someone who pictures heaven in their mind is going to have an answer for, and this is actually how the thread progressed for a while.
It ended up going over 8 pages, with most of those totally off-topic, and about whether people should believe that God exists instead of the actual topic of the thread, and most of that as posted links to some website, and not even an actual discussion of what the poster thought about it.

If you want to be an atheist, that is your business, but it is totally NOT right for someone to deliberately throw a thread off topic, just because they have nothing to contribute to the actual thread.
Starting a thread like this one just to imply that people who believe in God have less intelligence than people who don’t is basically attacking the person, and not discussing a topic.

    Stories that defy YOUR logic.

Let’s get to the grit of the OP.
In the grand scheme of things, only .17 percent of the entire world has an IQ of 150 and mine is quite a bit higher than that which blows the heck out of the theory that atheists are of a higher intelligence value.

Which is exactly what I asked you for.
If you can’t come up with anything different than what you have continually harped on, it’s redundant.

And 93.6% of that .17% are atheists.

    Doubtful, very very doubtful.
That’s pretty much breadbox thinking Sheldon and I have never yet thought of you as being anything close to a breadbox.

Just for the record, I once asked a group of friends (believers, nonbelievers, agnostics, whatever) whether they thought that in general, religion is more a force for good or for evil. Every hand in the room went up for the "evil" vote.

This is the kind of thread which tends to cause high blood pressure among some readers.

The Old Testament is full of fairy-tale stories, because these are what instills interest in those of Sunday School age, as it did for me!
