    It was just a light dusting, and will probably melt away before sundown, unless another flurry comes around...

    It is now 3 hours later and not a trace of snow remains.

    That sounds like some of our snows, @Hal Pollner . I bet it was pretty while it lasted, though.

    The last time I was in Raleigh it snowed lightly. I was there with Andy Griffith, Don Knotts, and Jim Nabors.

    Hey..

    We're having a High Desert snowfall on Thanksgiving Day, the first in 11 years!

    It began raining lightly during my 9AM breakfast, then in a few minutes, snowflakes began appearing with the raindrops, then Snowflakes Only!

    At 11AM, our neighborhood roofs are now all white as my wife prepares the 8 KG Turkey for roasting.

    Have a nice day!

    How exciting @Hal Pollner !!! Is this a sign this year's winter will be harsher or just a fluke?

    Lady Bess....after studying the climatic history of our region, I have concluded that it will either be Harsher or a Fluke.

    @Hal Pollner
    One day, relying on her inscrutable common sense, my new wife having just heard the prediction of 80% chance of snow, asked how this was possible. To her it was either going to snow, or not, therefore chance of snow stood at 50%! Frank
