That happens in movies all the time. People walk away leaving a half dead enemy, only for them to be attacked for the second time.
I would at least tie their hand and feet with duct tape before I went for help.

Yeah, some movies are just so dumb. But if the main characters did the smart thing, the movie would only be 4 minutes long. :D

A few of my favorite movies used this technique; the first I remember was "Wait Until Dark," with Audrey Hepburn. When Alan Arkin leapt up to grab her I freaked, haha. Then of course "Sleeping With the Enemy" and "Fatal Attraction."

Yeah, like letting an intruder beat up her husband while she stands in a corner screaming instead of picking up a lamp or a fireplace poker.

I am currently watching an old Western (Buffalo Bill in Tomahawk Territory) and, in one scene, a covered wagon crashes into a tree after the driver is shot and bursts into flames. It was daylight, so I think we can rule out a lantern, and why would horses crash the wagon into a tree just because the driver was shot, to begin with? It's dumb enough when cars burst into flames in movie scenes because that rarely occurs, but a covered wagon?

The driver had a lit cigarette when he was shot and dropped the cigarette on the dynamite in the back of the wagon. :D

I love it when they squeal their tires on dirt roads, too.

It's these laugh tracks on all the TV shows that crack me up. You could be a mute and just move your lips and they have a laugh track for that.

Off topic ,..................that helicopter reminds me of a guy on another forum username Venom Jockey may he RIP. He was a heli pilot and so was his friend who bought a place hidden away somewhere you could only get to by lair. He was a very smart and kind man.

I don't watch many violent films. Some are really unrealistic, and the movie would be better if they just stuck to the facts.

These days, he would probably sue you if you got away. Four against one, tresspassing...
And if you managed to kill him, four against one, you would probably go to prison. We are living in weirder times than the movies portray.

I always thought that was so unreal myself. I don't know too many women who wouldn't pick up something and crown the thug.
