Several men at synagogue yesterday were speaking about that same issue. They don't respect our country, but seem happy enough taking American money. I don't know enough about football to have an informed opinion. @Lon Tanner It's great to have something to look forward to. I think as we get older, we really need enjoyable time fillers. Happiness is good for our health. Do you just watch alone or do a group of you get together?
We had a party before the game but I prefer to watch the game alone so I can concentrate without mindless discussion.
The 49ers were my favorite team before I met my husband who is a die hard Steelers fan. They are second to the Steelers now. When they play against each other I just say "May the best team win."
I was at the very first Saints game so that pretty much spells out who my favorite team....was. I too do not like to see anything but sports and sportsmanship in Any competitive game but when the politics started getting into pro sports, I am no longer interested. There should be only two times a player takes a knee in the NFL. One....to pray. Two.....when the quarterback is trying to eat up some time.
. This sums it up for me... " The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance." Just play the game, overpaid divas.
