Thank you...the blood work will rule out a few things...or show what is going on.
I understand your concern for daughter, hopefully that can be resloved soon also.

Well today has been almost 100 % peak for me...

It was a glorious sunny day, 80 deg f.. so hubs and I went for lunch at the very old but one of the very few left, traditional country pubs in a nearby village ( our favourite pub because it's still owned by the same family after 50 years and sells all traditional local brewed ales.., No all day football on big screen TV's, No music, No gambling machines, this is a family owned pub where they know your name, and what you drink, and they make you a doorstep sandwich or and all day breakfast or a traditional ploughmans salad from fresh local ingredients , and you can sit indoors and chew the fat with the locals about the price of hay or feed, or the cost of of the latest farm machinery part.. or outdoors in the leafy green garden right next to the horses in the next field , in the glorious peace and quiet with just the country folks drinking real ale or locally brewed ciders ..no youths, and rarely even children, no playground for the kids or anything to keep them occupied so it's rare to see anyone bringing children there , ..a real grown ups pub of which there are so few left today and which are missed so badly since pubs became gastropubs where adults get no respite from screaming kids, , and one we visit regularly particularly in the summer...

Then we went on to the Garden centre, and bought some beautiful Hebe Grethe plants (I'll take a pic tomorrow in the daylight)... and a sack of Niger seeds for the bird feeders..

Then to the Mall where I bought new knee length leather boots for winter, and a couple of long sleeve jumpers..

Then late afternoon for delicious latte at the next village pub, to sit out on the decking on the comfy sofas reading the papers... just a blissful day....

BTW, while I'm adding pics.... ...this is my hair cut from yesterday 3 inches off the length

Oh I forgot to add, that another thing that made me happy was finding these...

A few years ago Candy floss (cotton candy ) flavoured grapes arrived in our stores, and lasted just a short while, and disappeared as fast as they came. I've searched for them ever since, with no luck, and now 3 years on they're back, and just as delicious!!...so I'm a happy little bunny :D

Trader Joe’s had those but I never tried them....some people loved them, some didn’t.

Pit: I can’t get over missing Pickles...it’s been a month now and I still cry every day and miss him so much.

This has been my hardest loss of a pet so far....maybe because he was so much more..my soul companion for the last 11 years living here.

    I’m sad right now...

Everything should be great....my health scare turned out to be okay, I’m meeting lots of new friends and going to lots of lunches out with different women.

But I am unable to enjoy anything because all I want is to have Pickles still alive ....and what’s so funny is that he was such a pain in the butt most of the time...but the house is so quiet without his non stop barking when anyone was here or just walked in front of the house.

Everyone says...get another dog....I’m not missing having a pet, in fact it’s given me more freedom....I just miss Pickles. :(

@Holly Saunders ....what do those grapes taste like? I know I should have bought them and tried them but just never did for whatever reason.

I had no real peaks. I woke up in a crabby mood and decided just to stay in it. This happens on very rare occasions, so I'm wallowing in it.

@Chrissy Cross , I'm really sad that you're still hurting so badly over pickles death, I know it hurts like hell, (we've lost 3 in the last year).. but as he was your only constant companion you've lost a part of your heart, as well as your sweet little friend and that big house will seem so empty without him.. but nothing heals like time, you know that of course, but you just have to ride it out unfortunately!!..

As for the grapes CC...it's very hard to explain the taste, it's just like candy floss. a kind of mix between Vanilla/apple, and strawberry is the best I can describe it..

They are obviously grapes with the grape texture but this gorgeous sweet flavour although not at all sugary.., and amazingly unlike normal white/green grapes, they seem less acidic too, so much easier on my stomach!

What's also great about them is that if you freeze them, and eat one frozen it's just like eating a boiled sweet (candy)... fantastic if you're on a diet! (not that you are I know ) but for anyone else, ...deeeelishus!!:D

Your post makes me sad, Chrissy. I lost my precious little dog two years ago and my heart still aches. People always say “get another dog,” but I don’t want A dog... I want MY dog. :(

Wow the day has been filled with aggravating little pits.
First thing this morning- cant find car keys- this rarley happens to me. Have another car key so used that. At the Center today nothing seemed to go right for anyone.I will skip the details. Come home and find a jury summons in the mail. Lucky me do not have to go..over 70:).
However hubby goes tomorrow cause he us younger than me;).
Got the results back on my blood work. Not at all what I expected. All is within range except sugar was Q uote ' slightly elevated and potassium is a little low'..unquote.
Anyway glad all is well but disappointed don't know still the cause of this body pain.
There were numerous annoying things happening today, but I got through it.
    The Peak...um ..almost dinner time:D

Peak: My daughter called early to bring over sugar free cookies she had made to have coffee with me.
Pit: She needed some money towards her late utility bill.

    Being a mom. :D
