What procedure do you use to remind you of things you need to do, bills that are due, birthdays, chores, etc.?

I should use my phone for more of this, but don't. Still have a wall calendar like it's 1972 or something.
I also use post it notes on my coffee canister to remind me of certain things I need to remember that day....like garbage day or making sure I eat before I go somewhere. I'm not sure I would forget, but I feel better with a reminder.

I keep a pad of large post-it notes and a pen in the bathroom. I put a note on the mirror right where my face will be. If I get up in the morning and have a rectangular yellow head, I know I better read what's written...….

Notes left on the closed laptop or nearby, if it's about something days ahead.

My iPad has a notes app,and that is what I use,or the calendar app for appointments. When we go on for our semi-annual checkups, they always give us an appointment for the next one , six months later. When I get home , I add it to the calendar right away, so even when we lose the card (always), the ipad calendar has it and will remind us.
Most of the bills, I pay online, and have them set to just come out of my account, so all I have to do is check and see that everything is going as usual.
Other than that, we really don’t have a lot to remember, except when we need something from the store that we don’t buy on a regular basis.
    Like Comet cleanser.
We have forgotten that 2-3 trips to the store, remembered it at Aldi’s; but couldn’t find any there (why ever not ? ), andfinally got it today when we went to Baby Wally for a few groceries. Just in case you are wondering..... Baby Wally is our nickname for the little Walmart Neighborhood Market.

Since I have a Gmail account, I use the built-in calendar for birthday reminders, doctors appointments and other stuff. As for bills, most credit cards have "alerts" settings that you can set for a text message... like the bill is due in 10 days or whatever; they will also alert when the payment is received. For groceries or other reminders I use a small wipe-off board on the refrigerator. I can just take a picture of it with my cellphone when I leave the house. :D

I have a space on the counter for phone and pocketed booklet with pen.
I use this instead of check register. I note what is going on for the the week. I make food menu for the week.
And make notes of upcoming this for later on. Grocery is done on phone along with any appts.

We use a wall calendar just like we did in the 1970s. When I worked, I kept track of things using Outlook, but at home I don't spend that much time on a computer, and I don't have a smart phone (wouldn't use it anyway). I have a "dumb" phone that I could use but don't. For travel info, I post the itinerary on a bulletin board in the office.

I have a small Blackboard on the kitchen wall, which is where I write immediate things I'm likely to forget..like Dr's appointments..or ''to do items'..
