OMG. you're right Cody, I just had another look at it ...there really is a stone missing, I never noticed that... ...thanks for being so observant, that would have gone un-noticed by me for a while, so I'll ring the jewellers store now and arrange to have that returned

@Holly Saunders ...was off three hours. The storm itself was incredible loud with terrible thunder booming everywhere. Whew... Oh well Monday thru Thursday next week more rain and storms. Feeling water logged
I saw the weather alert for tornadoes in Texas, and it looked like Oklahoma and Kansas were getting their share of storms, too. The latest radar looks like the storm is moving on into Arkansas now, so maybe it is about done with your area, @Gloria Mitchell ? Our forecast said we had t-storms by tomorrow night, but now it is just saying a 20% chance of rain, so it must be going to break up before it gets through Mississippi and into Alabama. Glad that you are safe, and hoping you were not close to where the tornadoes touched down !
Pit.: I had an appt for an MRI on my knee at a hospital a 40 mile round trip away... I've waited 3 months for this. It's painful for me to drive because the affected knee is the one need for the accelerator pedal ..so any distance is painful. Got to the hospital a good 40 minutes before my appt time, and as the multi storey car park is jam packed, everyone looking for a space to park in the very narrow and tight spaces , and eventually I found one on the 9th floor.. which meant sitting on the UP ramps all the way up , holding clutch and gas pedal praying that my kneecap doesn't pop out, or I burn the clutch out!! Eventually get down into radiology , still 15 mins before my appt time..11.30 ..''packed''... most are for X-rays so I'm not concerned , I'll sit an play a silent game on my phone methinks ..nope, can't do , forgot my dashed phone... .. never mind only 15 mins to wait...wrong again!!... they eventually called me in at 1.30pm...!!!! I'd been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours , with a crashing bore next to me who insisted on showing me all the pictures on his phone of his Villa in Spain, and his new Winnebago..I got his full life story, the names of his adult kids, his wifes sisters, the cause of some of their deaths..OMG!!!!!! ..this guy wasn't a lonely old man, he was the same age as me!! .. blessed relief when they called my name Finally get the MRI done... go to pay for the parking and the machine took double payment from my Card!!!...now I'm seriously fed up.. I had to go and find a payment office and get the extra payment taken off my card!! ...then rinse and repeat as before to get out of the car park Peak : It was warm & sunny..drove into the nearest town from the hospital and had my hair cut on the spur of the moment .... then to the department stores and picked up a couple of new pairs of shorts, and some bit and bobs for my trip ., . ..came home exhausted and really sore!! I'm not moving out of this house for another week at least!!
Man, @Holly Saunders I am so sorry, but those are the pitfalls of socialized medicine. No real competition, so no need to make the patient happy. Hopefully you will be correctly diagnosed and treated, and you recent pain will be gone (or almost gone...). I guess that is the downside of us older folks having a standard transmission vehicle also.
