    Dust here to lack of rainfall, my front road is not paved nor any close other than the highway, we had gravel when I built here.

    Today 109 forecast, no rain other than a drop 3 weeks ago, huge cracks in the ground, no rain mentioned for at least 2 more weeks, out in it every day, when I 1st moved back here 3 cars seen in a day was about it now has grown some, I love it!

    Yes all my life I do get dirty filthy is a better wording unloading square bales by hand for horses..

    The road back behind me to the barn and pastures is dirt the direction is south, most of our wind is from the south, south wind + dirt = dirty!

    Tub and shower. Shower in the morning and then a soak in the evening, which is followed by a shower rinse.

    My wife just mentioned that she missing taking a leisurely bath. To me bathing in a tub is sitting in water comprised of all the dirt that has come off of you. In other words, sitting in your own filth, The way around that is to first take a shower but now your leisurely bath has become two things to do. Still while in a bath water is getting into all of your nooks and crannies so ......

    I live in a retirement community and hardly anyone uses the showers before they enter the pool. Some have bandages on and I know some are incontinent. Everyone says that the water is treated and filtered. However there are things that the chemicals cannot kill. Plus it takes 3 hours for all the water to filter. There was an article about pool water testing in Florida and most pools had above normal fecal matter in them.

    Give me a shower anytime, even if it is a sit down shower. Plus at our age bathtubs are dangerous. :)

    I can't remember the last time I took a bath...it's showers for me and has been for years now. Besides I'd be afraid if I got down in a tub...I just might not be able to get back up. :)

    I take a bath every day unless I'm washing my hair, then I shower. I'd never give up my tub.

    Only showers for me. And I figured out a way to get around the low flow shower heads.

    @Beth Gallagher

    No, but then I don't sleep in a bed........I've found that given the painful pressure on various parts of my body when lying flat, whether on my back, side, or whatever, I can sleep relatively pain-free incumbent in my recliner. This process has unfortunately rather distanced me from my wife.......however, given her complaints of my snoring....(nah, I know I don't :)), well.......what can be said?

    Showers for me only.. although we have a jacuzzi bath which takes ages to fill up , I think the last time I took a bath was a couple of summers ago when my back was really hurting... , but to wash, I like to just get in and out of the shower nice and quickly..

    After one of my wife's episodes in the hospital, having a tub was no longer an option even tho we took showers in it. Had the tub removed and a shower with about 1 inch lip to keep the water inside has worked well since then.

    We have 2 Tubs and 2 Showers in our domicile. Wife uses the Tub in the Master Bathroom, and I use the adjacent Stall Shower.

    The other Tub/Shower in the Guest Bathroom has never been used by Wife or myself in the 21 years we've been living here.
