New Liberal Candidates keep coming out of the woodwork like termites and keep pushing the Socialist Agenda.
Without the population being 95% Illegal Aliens the U.S. will never embrace socialism. Why do you think the LIBS don't want the wall. LET THOSE VOTERS IN!!

I see that Bernie Sanders has announced his candidacy for president in 2020. Since Hillary is not running this time (Yet) maybe the DNC won't undermine his candidacy. The next couple of years should be interesting.

Bernie says he is running again because his (lunatic) philosophy has been embraced by the Democratic Party. I understood there was a move afoot that stated only Democrats could run as Democrats in national elections. It was designed to keep Bernie out of the Presidential race, as, although he caucuses with the Democrats and generally votes with them, he has always registered as an Independent. He became a Democrat during 2016, but I believed he changed back when the campaign was over. A commentator I heard said that Bernie is now something of a non-entity, as Elizabeth Warren has already scooped us his constituency. We will see what the next year brings.

I agree the next couple of years should be interesting. Or at least interesting to find out how the agenda that seems to reflect Bernie's previous platform & AOC's agenda which seems to be the rally call for democrats.

I am absolutely convinced that the Democratic Party and it's minions plans and proposals for this country are so radical and off kilter, Americans will reject Democratic candidates at the polls in record numbers and set all time records for defeat of a political party.

I read of one scenario in which the Dems have planned for such a thing, just as (perhaps) they did with Watergate. After Nixon won 49 states, he was forced out of office by a scandal he didn't even know about when it happened. They may have such a thing planned for 2020, and that could be why they need the unredacted Mueller Report even though it is illegal to release an unredacted version, and that was set originally when they had control of Congress after the Clinton fiasco. As usual, the Democrats set things in motion that usually come back to bite them in the butt, e.g., the "Reid Rule", the Emergency Powers Act, and, in one form, the War Powers Act.

I never thought the Republicans would ever allow Trump to get the Republican nomination either, so what do I know...?

The media is going to portray Butt-Gig as a conservative Democrat, in the hopes of getting back those Democrats are are turned off by the socialist nonsense, and to attract those who are afraid that Trump will succeed in changing the agenda.

The next 2 years will certainly be interesting. I'm remembering how Obummer seemingly came out of nowhere to derail Hillary in 2008, so it's anyone's guess how things will turn out.

My head is STILL spinning after realizing that Obama was re-elected in 2012!

What a waste of ANOTHER 4 years!

Medicare For All would be the end of Medicare, and that is the intent. There has been the drive for single-payer healthcare among Democrats for years; it is a control issue. The one who pays gets to control who gets it and how it is delivered. That is really what is behind it all.
